The HF Hotels is a group of Portuguese hotels positioned in the Portuguese urban tourism market.
The history of the HF Hotels group started in 1986 with the acquisition of the Fénix Lisboa. In 1999, it took over the Ipanema Porto hotel, and, in 2001, it also acquired the Tuela Porto and the Tuela Torre hotels. The latter was renamed as Fénix Porto.
In 2003, the HF Fénix Lisboa hotel was remodelled and expanded from 123 to 193 rooms and the Ipanema Park hotel was acquired. Only in 2004, were several hotels grouped in a network philosophy, becoming part of the HF Hotels group. Regardless the name, the truth is that the group has more than 30 years of experience in hotel management.
